ASAP

The ASAP SIG is designed for clinical users, analysts and support staff who are interested in collaborating with other hospitals to optimize the use of ASAP at their sites.

The group focuses on clinical workflows for providers, nurses and other ancillary staff by sharing best practices and innovative approaches to using ASAP.

By joining the ASAP SIG, members will join a network of knowledgeable and experienced ASAP analysts and clinicians, and gain insight into leveraging ASAP features.

Epic Education

The primary focus of the Epic Education SIG is to share Epic education tools, strategies, and best practices to enhance the quality of Epic education for all participating MNEUG organizations.

You are invited to join the Epic Education SIG if you are interested in learning about Epic education strategies, deliverables, and new innovations for your organization.  Many members include, but are not limited to: training managers, instructional designers, principle trainers, credentialed trainers, training coordinators, senior level managers and Epic project managers.

Health Information Management

HIM SIG members include HIM Epic IT Analysts, HIM Directors, Managers, Supervisors.

Our primary focus is to share knowledge regarding Epic system build and workflows between IT & Operations. This includes topics related to Release of Information, Chart Completion, Deficiency Tracking, Transcriptions, Scanning, Privacy/Compliance/Legal and other HIM ancillary workflows.

HIM SIG members will gain knowledge from experienced professionals in the industry.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy SIG is a forum where all pharmacy users of Epic can collaborate by sharing ideas, innovations, challenges, and solutions.  We will discuss new functionality, integration with third party systems, and operational workflows to learn from and to teach each other.

All pharmacy users, builders, and administrators are encouraged to become a member of this SIG.  As SIG membership grows, the opportunity to meet other Epic Pharmacy users and create peer relationships across the state is enhanced.  The more we share, the stronger we can grow together!

The Revenue Cycle, Billings & Claims Office SIG is geared for anyone that works the visit once a claim has dropped; some functions include Billing, Follow up, Denials, Underpayments, Self Pay Collections.  Our members include billing insurance specialists and customer service specialists.

Security

Epic Security is becoming more challenging to effectively administer, maintain, and monitor. We focus on Epic User & Provider access; share trending security concerns, brag when “we got it right”, and work toward identifying security gaps for future enhancements.

When an individual joins and actively participates, we work to provide the platform to share ideas, as well as learn from successes and failures. Collectively we can have a larger voice for Epic Security enhancements.
